The AURORA consortium is pleased to announce its participation in the 8th Post-Combustion Capture Conference (PCCC-8), set to take place from September 16 to 18, 2025, in Marseille, France. Organized by the IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG), PCCC-8 is a key international forum dedicated to the latest advancements in post-combustion carbon capture (PCC) technologies.

AURORA’s Contribution to PCCC-8

The AURORA consortium is proud to contribute to this important event by submitting several abstracts that showcase our latest research on solvent-based CO₂ capture technologies. Our submissions will reflect ongoing work within the Horizon Europe-funded AURORA project, focusing on improving the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of post-combustion carbon capture solutions.

The deadline for abstracts is April 1rst 2025.

A Leading Event in Carbon Capture Research

PCCC-8 gathers researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers from around the world to discuss cutting-edge developments in CO₂ capture for power generation and industrial applications. As post-combustion capture remains one of the most promising pathways for large-scale CO₂ reduction, this conference plays a crucial role in fostering knowledge exchange and innovation in the field.

Join Us at PCCC-8!

As the urgency to implement large-scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) grows, platforms like PCCC-8 provide an essential space for collaboration and innovation. We look forward to engaging with experts and stakeholders who share our vision for a low-carbon future.

Stay tuned for more details on the conference program and updates on our participation!

By participating in PCCC-8, our team aims to:
