Today the AURORA Project held its 1st day kick-off meeting. The AURORA Project (Accelerated deployment of integrated CCUS chains based on solvent capture technology) consortium, composed of 12 partners from 6 European countries is now gathered in SINTEF’s offices in Brussels to officially launch the project!
A great opportunity to present and discuss the general topics of the project, refine the role of each partner, and exchange Work Packages’ objectives and activities, and prepare the standardisation of internal methodologies, tools and procedures.
Many ideas were exchanged: after reviewing plans and strategies for management, communication, and dissemination, the consortium spent the afternoon working on guidelines and methodologies for large-scale capture plant assessment, technology qualification, and cluster development.
Many thanks to SINTEF for organising such an interesting event and to all the partners for their contributions !
Our next project meeting will be organised by our partner Aker Carbon Capture in Oslo 🇳🇴
